Learn American Sign Language
The ASL Program will be using the True+Way Curriculum (TRUE+WAY ASL), a technology-driven curriculum that is more student-centered. TWA’s main objective is to promote real-world conversations related to your daily lives to have students be able to converse with deaf people in the community.
This is a non-credit community-based American Sign Language course. This course cannot be used towards any high school or college’s foreign language credit.
The course consists of 12 hours of instruction (1 hour each week for twelve weeks). You are enrolled after a payment of $125 has been made to the IAD Academy Program. Also, for student access, you will also be required to pay an additional $25 directly to True Way ASL with a link provided by the teacher. The additional $25 fee is per ASL course.
Due to COVID-19, all classes will be taken online through Zoom. Please secure internet and a laptop/iPad to complete your course.
