Indy Deaf News (IDN500) is our weekly digest sent via email to the Deaf community across the State of Indiana. IND500 share news, announcements, events, and many more to serve our subscribers enlighten. IDN500 was founded by Bob Canty, a past member of the Indiana Association of the Deaf.

Relay Indiana

Relay Indiana, a service of Indiana Telephone Relay Access Corporation (InTRAC), is a free service that provides full telecommunications accessibility to people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech impaired. This service allows users with special telecommunication devices to communicate with standard users through specially trained Relay Operators. InTRAC also provides free, loaned equipment to those who qualify.

American Sign Language and Deaf Studies Program

Minimum qualifications:

  • Masters level in the specific field of American Sign Language Teaching, American Sign Language Linguistics, and Communcation Specialized in American Sign Language

  • Certified or Master American Sign Language Teachers Association

  • Preference will be given to persons with college-level teaching experience

The successful candidate will teach English  Composition I and Business Communications
