Raney Award, Tyler Crace! The award was given at Indiana School for the Deaf Graduation ceremony along with $100. To make this award even more special, Tyler’s mother, Jodee Scharfeberger Crace was also a recipient of the Raney Award.

Paige Hawkins received the Jerry Thixton Award at the Middle School Promotion ceremony outstanding character, leadership and diverse fellowship. Paige received $50 and a plaque from Kathy Thixton and her family.

IAD Board voted in a special board meeting to close the Dr. J. A. Raney Award this year, and IAD will begin giving out the Bob Canty Leadership Award next year to ISD high school graduate.
